Heraldry is a big part of what we do in the SCA, and as the Barony’s herald, I am responsible for maintaining and cultivating the heraldry of the group and its members.

I help members research names and heraldry that are appropriate to their character’s persona, and I help them to submit their device to the Society’s College of Heralds.

In addition, you’ll frequently see me standing behind the Baron and Baroness during Court; here, I call people before Their Excellencies, as well as read the text of award scrolls.
